Spend your ceremony surrounded by the pastoral beauty of nature at one of Metroparks Toledo’s 19 parks, each with their own unique scenery and spaces. In addition to beautiful natural settings most of the Metroparks have rentable indoor spaces, like Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Metropark, to the new Glass City Pavilion, providing scenic views of the Downtown Toledo skyline.

A beautiful natural setting for your wedding is as close as the nearest Metropark. Arrangements may be made to hold your outdoor wedding at locations in any Metropark, any day of the week, with advance notice. Also, Metroparks Toledo allows you to choose your own vendors, providing flexibility to personalize every aspect of your special day and ensure it aligns perfectly with your vision!

Meadows, woods, riverbanks and ponds are just a few of the natural settings that could be part of your wedding day memories. Locations at Secor, Side Cut, Swan Creek, Pearson, Oak Openings, Farnsworth, Bend View and Providence are available for a fee of $75 to $100. Available time periods are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to dark.

Constructed of welded steel, The Sandpiper is inspected annually by the U.S. Coast Guard.

The brand-new Birchwood Meadow, located in Swanton, is home to the beautiful “Big Timber” barn which presents an impressive 40’ vaulted ceiling in the main hall with arched trusses that span the entire main hall. With on-site cabins available, Birchwood Meadow is quickly becoming one of the area’s most popular wedding venues.

Birchwood Meadow, a premier wedding and event venue will accommodate up to 300 people for a wedding with ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. 2025 dates are now open for booking!
