Back for its second season\, this immersive event invites participants to kayak alongside a pontoon boat carrying live bands as they perform while cruising down the Maumee River. \nPresented by the KeyBank National Association Trustee for the Walter E. Terhune Memorial Fund\, Paddle & Groove offers a unique opportunity to experience the Maumee River’s natural beauty while enjoying live music. DESCRIPTION:The Mud Hens welcome back the Cleveland Guardians’ AAA affiliate\, the Columbus Clippers\, for a three-game homestand to kick off the month of July. Kick off the 4th of July weekend early with some Mud Hens Baseball and their largest fireworks show of the season\, a light up item giveaway\, and postgame concert at Hensville ft. Red Voodoo & Elton Dan and the Rocket Band. (Game ticket includes admission to Hensville concert) \n  \n  \n2025 Season Schedule\nWeekends are for Mud Hens baseball. Thirty-nine of the 75 home games this season fall on weekend dates (13 Fridays\, 13 Saturday and 13 Sundays). The Mud Hens are also home for several holidays in 2025\, including Mother’s Day (May 11)\, Father’s Day (June 15)\, Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-25)\, and the week of Fourth of July (July 1-3). \nThe team plays at home against rival Columbus (Cleveland Guardians affiliate) 12 times (Opening Weekend\, July 1-3 and August 12-17)\, against Iowa (Chicago Cubs affiliate) 12 times (April 8-13 and May 6-11)\, and against Louisville (Cincinnati Reds affiliate) 12 times (May 27 – June 1 and September 9-14). SUMMARY:Independence Day Fireworks | Maumee & Perrysburg
DESCRIPTION:The City of Perrysburg and the City of Maumee will host the traditional Independence Day fireworks on Thursday\, July 3 (rain date is July 5). Fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m. and will last approximately 20-25 minutes. \nThe fireworks will be set off in a new location this year. American Fireworks will set them off in the green space on the west side of the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge off Rapids Road\, which is higher elevation than the previous location at Orleans Park. \nParking will not be permitted off Rapids Road\, and spectators will not be allowed to sit on the bridge due to it being in the safety zone. Orleans Park will be back open for spectators this year. Other viewing locations include Fort Meigs Historic Site and Riverside Park on the Perrysburg side as well as along the Towpath Trail on the Maumee side.

Plan your evening using this helpful and detailed guide below provided by The City of Toledo!\n\nPromenade Park\nPromenade Park will be transformed into a riverfront festival zone with local food trucks and drink vendors beginning in the early evening. The splash pad will remain open during the event. \nFood Truck Lineup (Summit Street in front of Promenade Park):\nFood vendors were selected via lottery and represent a variety of local flavors: \n\nSusie Lynne’s Lemonade – 20+ lemonade shake-up flavors\nFrozen ParadICE – Shaved ice\, bubble tea\, and Dippin’ Dots\nCasero Kitchen – Venezuelan street food\nO’Henry’s Kitchen On Wheels – Comfort food classics\nTaqueria Jalisco 419 – Authentic Mexican cuisine\nDog Waggin – Hot dogs\, sausages\, brats\, and French fries\n\nBeer & Spirits at Promenade Park (5:30 – 10:00 p.m.):\nCoolers are not permitted inside the park. No alcohol is permitted outside of the Event Zones at Glass City Metropark at any time. \nEvent Access & Parking \n\nOn July 4\, all vehicle access will route through a single entrance at 1521 Front Street\, via the shared drive with the National Museum of the Great Lakes.\nOnce on-site parking reaches capacity\, the park will close to vehicular traffic and only walk-in traffic will be permitted.\nAdditional parking and fireworks viewing will be available at Glass City Upriver (formerly International Park). Please note that there will be no vehicle exit from this area between 9:45 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.\, while public safety authorities clear the designated fireworks safety zone.\n\nMiddlegrounds Metropark\nMiddlegrounds Metropark will be closed to vehicular traffic at 5 p.m.\, but will remain open for walk-in traffic for fireworks viewing. \nBoat Dock Access\nPublic Boat Docking\nBoaters may reserve one of the 46 transient slips along the Glass City Riverwalk downtown near Promenade Park\, operated by J&M Cruise Lines. Limited dockage is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. St. Clair Streets.\nTARPS paratransit service is available until 11:15 p.m.\n\nRegular fixed route service continues as scheduled. When you’re finished picking flowers\, you’ll return your clippers to GardenView.\n\nCostGuests can make a bouquet for $16. Bring a Ball brand quart-size mason jar or buy a 4” wide vase at check-in ($2 for vase) to fill with as many flowers as you would like. Guests will be able to borrow clippers from GardenView Flowers for picking flowers.
