DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Brewery Running Series invites visitors to kick off Oktoberfest festivities with a scenic and social 5K at Brewing Green in Bowling Green on Saturday\, September 19th\, 2026. Starting at 11am from the taproom\, this untimed fun run takes participants through the streets of Bowling Green\, offering a relaxed course designed for runners\, walkers\, and joggers of all levels. \nThe experience blends fitness\, community\, and celebration as participants cross the finish line and are rewarded with a complimentary craft brew from Brewing Green. Each guest also receives a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal Brewery Running Series swag\, along with chances to win door prizes including merchandise and beer to take home. \nMore than just a run\, this event supports a meaningful cause. A portion of proceeds benefits local nonprofits\, including the Brown Bag Food Project\, helping strengthen the community with every registration. The course is open and not closed to traffic\, with clearly marked directions\, and participants are encouraged to follow all traffic laws. A field of up to 2\,000 runners will compete on the fast and flat 26.2 mile\, marathon course. Our springtime marathon regularly shows in the top 25 fastest races\, with over a third of the field punching their ticket to run on Patriot’s Day with a Boston Marathon qualifying time. Runners wind their way through some of the area’s most scenic spots before ending at the finish line inside the University of Toledo Glass Bowl Stadium.
