DESCRIPTION:The National Museum of the Great Lakes invites guests to experience the museum in a calm\, accommodating setting during its Sensory Friendly Weekends\, thoughtfully designed for comfort and enjoyment. \nHeld on the second Saturday and Sunday of every month\, this dedicated experience takes place one hour before the museum opens to the public. \nAdmission is included with regular museum entry and is free for members and Museums for All participants. \nCreated especially for individuals with sensory sensitivities\, this designated time offers a more immersive and comfortable visit: \n\nCrowds are limited to ensure a peaceful\, relaxed environment\nLighting is dimmed to create a calming atmosphere\nExhibit sounds are lowered or eliminated to reduce auditory stimulation\n\nAs a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) through the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Services (IBCCES)\, the museum is committed to providing inclusive\, accessible experiences for all visitors. \nGuests are encouraged to pre-order tickets in advance or purchase them at the door upon arrival. DESCRIPTION:HANGOVER CLASSIC 2026 \nKick off the new year with a fun\, family-friendly 5K at the annual Hangover Classic. Festive pajamas and robes are encouraged\, so feel free to get creative. \nLocation: Monclova Community Center \nStart Times:• 1K Kids Race at 11:15 am• 5K Run and Walk at 11:45 am \nCourse: Flat out and back route with mile markers. This is not a closed course\, so watch for cars and stay alert. \nRegistration:• $20 for non Toledo Road Runners Club members• $15 for Toledo Road Runners Club membersChip timing is included. Please arrive early to pick up your bib. \nRefreshments: Water\, hot chocolate\, and food remaining from the Midnight Special. Participants may bring their own food and drinks.
