Volunteers will learn about the importance of native plants while contributing directly to efforts that promote biodiversity throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. \nFollowing the seed preparation activities\, attendees are invited to relax and connect over a shared meal featuring homemade soup and bread\, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. Hosted by Wild Ones Oak Openings Region Chapter—a local chapter of the national Wild Ones nonprofit—this event highlights the ecological significance of the Oak Openings Region\, a globally threatened ecosystem known for its diverse habitats\, migratory bird populations\, and proximity to Lake Erie\, the Maumee River\, and the Great Black Swamp.
