DESCRIPTION:To honor and celebrate the 85th anniversary of Jeep as well as the 250th anniversary of the United States\, local historian and author\, Tedd Long\, will conduct a special program – In partnership with Toledo Jeep Fest and the America – 250 Campaign – exploring Toledo’s central role in the creation of Jeep\, the most recognizable vehicle in American history.\n\nTedd’s multimedia presentation will highlight the remarkable people and workforce behind the Jeep: engineers\, factory workers\, soldiers and Toledo families whose lives were shaped by its production. Panelists will also share personal stories and reflections on Jeep’s lasting impact on Toledo’s transportation\, economy\, culture and identity.\n\nThis event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available for all guests in Lot 10. Attendees will discover the people\, places\, and stories tied to this cross-country route while gaining a broader perspective on its place in American history. \nThe program takes place on April 21 at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free for museum members and $7 for non-members\, with tickets including a self-guided tour of the museum. The presentation will be led by Gary Hunter\, Executive Director of the Ohio U.S. Route 6 Tourist Association.
