DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Ohio’s role in film and television at Ohio Goes to the Movies’ special screening of A Man Called Otto on Saturday\, March 21\, at the Maumee Indoor Theater. Presented as part of Ohio’s America 250 Commission\, this event highlights the state’s contributions to the film industry and its local connections to Northwest Ohio. \nThe evening features a free screening of A Man Called Otto\, which was filmed in part at Toledo’s historic Amtrak Station. Following the film\, attendees are invited to stay for a post-screening discussion with actor Peter Lawson Jones\, along with an update on the regional film industry from FilmToledo\, the area’s film commission. \nDesigned as a red carpet–style event\, Ohio Goes to the Movies is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. This special program offers a unique opportunity to experience a feature film while learning more about Ohio’s growing impact on the movie and television industry.
