A new era of hockey arrives in Toledo as the inaugural season of the eXtreme Roller Hockey League (XRHL) takes over Huntington Center beginning July 31, 2026.
Built for hockey fans who love speed, physical play, and nonstop scoring, the XRHL brings fast-paced roller hockey action to one of America’s great hockey cities. The league’s pilot season features four locally inspired teams — the Maumee Bay Ghost Frogs, Glass City Pain, 419 Bladers, and Toledo Sasquatch — battling through an 18-game schedule packed with hard hits, highlight-reel goals, and playoff intensity from opening night onward. Created through tryouts, drafts, and free agency, the league showcases regional talent while delivering an energetic game-day atmosphere designed for both longtime hockey fans and newcomers looking for high-octane entertainment.
