Uptown Maumee Music Fest & Firework Viewing

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at the Uptown Maumee Music Fest & Firework Viewing on Friday, July 3, in the heart of Uptown Maumee. This free community celebration combines live local music, family-friendly activities, great food, and one of the area’s premier fireworks displays for an unforgettable summer evening.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. in the 100 block of West Wayne Street with live performances from four popular local bands. Enjoy sets from Distant Cousinz, Beef Carvers, My 80s Vice, and Arctic Clam as live music fills Uptown throughout the evening. Families can take advantage of free kids activities from 5–9 p.m., while visitors can explore local restaurants, food trucks, and enjoy beverages through Maumee’s DORA district.

At 10 p.m., look to the sky as fireworks launch from the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge, creating a spectacular backdrop to the night’s celebration. Music continues until 11:30 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
