Twilight on the Battlefield – Battle of Fallen Timbers Monument

Step into the past during Twilight on the Battlefield, an immersive evening experience at the historic Battle of Fallen Timbers Monument in Maumee. Taking place July 11 from 6–9 p.m., this unique living history event invites visitors to encounter historical figures connected to the 1794 Battle of Fallen Timbers as they share personal stories of life, love, sacrifice, and survival during a pivotal moment in early American history.

Guided groups will depart from the visitors’ center every 20 minutes, leading guests through the battlefield as costumed interpreters bring the era to life. The program explores the military and political tensions that shaped one of the most significant battles ever fought on American soil and offers a memorable opportunity to experience history in a powerful and personal way.

Presented with support from the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Preservation Commission, Twilight on the Battlefield is a rare and limited-capacity program designed for history enthusiasts, families, and anyone interested in the stories that shaped the region and the nation.
