Celebrate the holiday season at Spiegel Grove during Lights of Spiegel Grove, a festive evening featuring the lighting of the estate’s 50-foot outdoor Christmas tree by Santa Claus. Guests can enjoy complimentary refreshments, holiday carolers, visits with Kris Kringle, and a lighted walk through the historic grounds of the estate once home to President Rutherford B. Hayes and First Lady Lucy Hayes.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., visitors are invited to tour the first floor of the Hayes Home during a special open house featuring historically accurate holiday décor and opportunities to speak with staff. Guests can also explore the museum and view the popular “Hayes Train Special” model train display. Admission to the event and Hayes Home open house is free. Lights of Spiegel Grove is part of A Presidential Christmas at Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums.
