Eugene’s Baby Bash at the Toledo Zoo
Celebrate the newest addition to the herd at Eugene’s Baby Bash on April 25 at the Toledo Zoo.
Head to the Africa! Overlook to meet Eugene, the Zoo’s newest baby giraffe, and enjoy a day filled with giraffe-themed fun. Guests can take part in keeper talks, crafts, and family-friendly activities while learning more about giraffes and Eugene’s early days. Special themed treats and merchandise will also be available for purchase.
For a closer look, the giraffe feed deck will be reserved for Eugene viewing until noon, with Zoo staff guiding small groups for an up-close experience. While Eugene isn’t tall enough for feedings just yet, visitors can still spot him alongside the herd on exhibit.
This event is included with Zoo admission (free for members), making it an easy and memorable way to spend the day. Guests can also support Eugene and the giraffe herd through the Zoo PAL program or by contributing to his registry.
