Artful Keys: Celebrating Tatum – Toledo Jazz Orchestra
Art Tatum’s playing still feels ahead of its time, built on speed, control, and harmonic ideas that continue to challenge pianists today. Toledo native Theron Brown takes on that legacy in a program that highlights both the brilliance and the complexity of Tatum’s work. With Alain Trudel leading, the performance connects a global jazz figure back to the city where his sound first took shape.
