Friday Night Booze Cruise
Downtown Toledo Riverfront, 1 Jefferson Ave | 8 - 10 p.m. | Tickets Required
Enjoy a relaxing Friday evening cruise on The Glass City Pearl for cruise on The Maumee River after a long work week! Bring your favorite bottle of wine, beer or spirits.

Parking Info: The Glass City Pearl is docked near the corner of Water Street and Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Toledo. Street and lot parking is available nearby.

Saturday, July 1

Toledo Farmers Market
Downtown Toledo, 525 Market St. | 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Free Admission
The Downtown Toledo Farmers' Market is every weekend offering local goods from area farmers, gardeners and artisans!

Parking Info: There is a parking lot between the market and the Libbey Glass Factory outlet. If this area is full, there is a lot off of Erie Street or street parking in the surrounding area. Street parking is free in Toledo on Saturdays.

Discover the River Cruise
Downtown Toledo Riverfront, 1 Jefferson Ave | 10 a.m. - Noon | Tickets Required
A 2-hour cruise discovering all the Maumee River has to offer. From stately homes to up-close views of wildlife, this cruise is fun for the whole family. Picnic items are encouraged. All food and drinks including alcoholic beverages are welcome and a small cooler to keep items cold.

Parking Info: The Sandpiper is docked near the corner of Water Street and Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Toledo. Street and lot parking is available nearby.

Ding Schoonmaker Day
National Museum of the Great Lakes, 1701 Front St. | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. | Admission Fee
A day-long celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the rechristening of the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and in honor of Ding Schoonmaker, the grandson of its namesake who was instrumental in the boat’s restoration. All visitors will receive FREE admission to museum vessels with the purchase of a museum-only admission.

Parking Info: The museum has a designated free parking lot and if that is full, there is parking at Glass City Metropark next door.

Adams Street Block Party
The Village on Adams, Adams Street, 21st to 11th Streets | 2 - 8 p.m. | $5
Join in on the neighborhood fun on Adams Street with food trucks, bar hopping, live music, shopping, activities and much more!

Parking Info: There are several paid lots lining the area around Adams Street as well as street parking which is free on Saturdays in Toledo.

XLII Italian Bowl USA
University of Toledo Glass Bowl Stadium | 3 p.m.
The top teams in the IFL will face off for XLII Italian Bowl on U.S. soil in the University of Toledo, Glass Bowl Stadium in Toledo, Ohio. Join us in Toledo for a week full of activities leading up to the big game in this celebration of culture and American Football in the home state of professional football!

Parking Info:

  • No parking passes need to be purchased
  • You will NOT be ticketed by the police/parking enforcement on game day
  • Tailgating is in Lot 10
  • RVs go to Lot 6

Join in on the tailgating, live music, and a very special Toledo Night Market before and after the big game!

Toledo Night Market
University of Toledo Flatlands | 3 - 10 p.m.
Inspired by night markets from around the world, join us at the Toledo Night Market. This open-air market is a festival of lights, food and refreshments, live music and artisan shopping. So come out and stroll the market in the creatively transformed flatlands and enjoy the finale of Italian Bowl week!

The Italian Bowl and the Toledo Night Market are both located on campus at the University of Toledo, and the Flatlands are directly outside the Glass Bowl Stadium. 

Special Note: A Mobile Sensory Bus will provide an inclusive experience for families visiting activities surrounding the Italian Bowl in coordination with The Ability Center. The bus will be located in front of the Rocket in Lot 10 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and will offer a safe and calming space for individuals with sensory processing disorders, such as autism. The bus serves as a peaceful retreat, allowing kids to recharge their energy and regain their focus - to re-engage in the activity or event.

Jared Anderson Vs. Charles Martin
Huntington Center Arena | 6 p.m. | Tickets Required
Don't miss Toledoan, Jared Anderson take on opponent Charles Martin at the Huntington Center Arena! 
A young phenom, Jared Anderson is close to becoming the next big thing at heavyweight. Looking for a challenge, he may have gotten his wish against Charles Martin on July 1. Inside the Huntington Center in Toledo, Anderson returns home.

Parking Info: The Port Lawrence Garage is attached to the Huntington Center and can be accessed from N. St. Clair Street. There are also other nearby garages such as the Glass City Center garage off of Monroe St., and the 200 N. St. Clair Garage which can be accessed from Summit St. Street parking is free.

Fireworks in the 419
Downtown Toledo | 10 p.m. | Free to the public
Italian Bowl will be going out with a BOOM! Don’t miss the City of Toledo’s largest firework display to celebrate American Independence Day Weekend. Find a viewing spot in downtown Toledo along the riverfront and enjoy Fireworks in the 419. There will be food trucks along Summit street 

Parking Info: There are several parking garages near the riverfront in the heart of downtown on the west side of the river where you can pay to park. Street parking will be scarce, but free. Park and walk to Promenade Park and spread out along the riverfront for the best view. People can also view the fireworks from Hensville park, and across the river at Glass City Metropark there is ample parking and space to spread out and enjoy the display. Bring a blanket and chairs for extra comfort!

Fireworks Viewing Party at Glass City Metropark
Glass City Metropark, 983 Front St. | Dawn - 11 p.m. | Free to the public

Explore Glass City Metropark all day long and immerse yourself in the park's playgrounds, water features, and even try out roller skating at The Ribbon. Hours at The Ribbon have been extended until 10 p.m. with equipment rentals until 9:30 so you can make the most of your evening before the show. Visit The Garden by Poco Piatti to satisfy your cravings with delicious food and refreshing drinks, and explore the many unique features Glass City has to offer.

Parking Info: There is ample parking lot space at Glass City Metropark, and folks will line the sides of the roadways within the park for overflow. 
 

Sunday, July 2

Sunday Brunch on the Glass City Pearl
Downtown Toledo Riverfront, 1 Jefferson Ave | 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Tickets Required
Join J&M Cruise Lines for the Sunday morning brunch river cruise! bring your favorite bottle of Mimosa or Bloody Mary’s or Mojito or any other favorite beverage.

Music Under the Stars
Toledo Zoo & Aquarium, 2 Hippo Way | 7:30 p.m. | Free Admission with Paid Parking
Enjoy summer evenings, sitting in the historic Amphitheatre, listening to live music while surrounded by family, friends and…the entire animal kingdom!

Parking Info: The zoo has ample parking lot space available located off the Anthony Wayne Trail or Broadway Street.

Sunset and City Lights Cruise
Downtown Toledo Riverfront, 1 Jefferson Ave | 8 - 10 p.m. | Tickets Required
Enjoy a beautiful sunset followed by a return trip downtown for amazing night views!
